Privacy policy

MERIDIAN IBERIA GLOBAL BUSINESS, S.L. places great importance on protecting the privacy of visitors to the migb.es website. This policy explains what data is processed, for what purpose, and what your rights are, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 of 5 December on the protection of personal data and the guarantee of digital rights (LOPDGDD).

1. Data controller

The data controller is MERIDIAN IBERIA GLOBAL BUSINESS, S.L., Tax ID (NIF/CIF) B26637678, whose registered office is located at 03012 Alacant/Alicante (Spain). Contact: contact@migb.es.

2. Data collection

The migb.es website is a presentation site that includes no contact form, registration or user account. No identifying data (name, address, contact details) is therefore collected directly through the site. The only data processed is browsing data, collected automatically via cookies, and only after your consent.

3. Cookies

On your first visit, a banner allows you to accept or refuse non-essential cookies. Two categories are used:

— Essential cookies: they allow your cookie choice to be remembered and do not send any data to third parties.
— Analytics cookies (Google Analytics): subject to your consent, they allow us to measure site traffic (pages viewed, visit duration, device type) in order to improve its content and usability.

You can change your choice at any time via the "Manage my cookies" link in the footer.

The partner logos displayed in the "Our trusted partners" section are files hosted directly on the migb.es website: their display does not trigger any request to a third-party server and therefore does not place any cookie or tracker related to these partners on your browser.

4. Data sharing

Browsing data collected via Google Analytics is processed by Google Ireland Limited, which may transfer it to its parent company Google LLC (United States), under appropriate safeguards provided for by the GDPR. No other data is sold, transferred or disclosed to third parties.

5. Retention period

Your cookie choice is stored locally in your browser until you change it or clear your browsing data. Data collected by Google Analytics is retained for the periods defined by Google, in accordance with its own privacy rules.

6. User rights

As migb.es is a static presentation site, without a form, user account or contact database, MERIDIAN IBERIA GLOBAL BUSINESS, S.L. does not itself retain any identifiable personal data subject to rectification, erasure or portability.

The only data likely to be processed is browsing data, collected via Google Analytics and only if you have consented to it. You may at any time:

— refuse or withdraw your consent to these cookies via the "Manage my cookies" link in the footer (right to object and restrict processing);
— write to us at contact@migb.es for any question about the data that may be processed by Google (right of access), it being specified that MERIDIAN IBERIA GLOBAL BUSINESS, S.L. itself has no access to any individually identifiable data.

In accordance with the GDPR and the LOPDGDD, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos – AEPD, www.aepd.es).

7. Security

MERIDIAN IBERIA GLOBAL BUSINESS, S.L. implements reasonable technical measures to preserve the security and confidentiality of the data processed as part of the operation of the site.
